The forecast for the week of Corinne and Justin's wedding was dark, cloudy and mostly thunderstorms for seven straight days, including their wedding day. Turns out it didn't rain a single drop the whole week. I was super excited about the sun that would be shining down on this sweet couple. When wedding day arrived it was a different story...the storm was expected to roll in right around ceremony time.
The day went on as planned but there was always someone keeping an eye on the sky.
As soon as we headed out for photos, the sky turned black.
I was able to photograph the guys with no rain!! As soon as I was finished with them it was time to photograph these gorgeous girls. As soon as the girls arrived, the clouds decided to let go.
The bride and groom planned on a first look before the ceremony. However, we all got stuck under a small covering together during the rain. The girls held up their bouquets around the bride so the groom still didn't see her. After about 20 minutes the rain let up so we could have time for bridesmaid photos.
As soon as I finished with the girls the rain started up again. The bride looked at me and told me it was ok if it was raining. I asked if she was ok with getting wet and she said, "Yes, I'm ready to see Justin." This couple is just as sweet as their first look photos.
Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Barr!! It was a pleasure to be a part of your big day!!
